So here's the thing.

Whatever the running theory is (Fade, demons, alternate worlds, Eluvian fuckery), for right now, we're stuck here. Someone else can take charge of all the perimeter checking and puzzle solving and magic book reading--that isn't where my skill set tends to lie.

I'm the guy you go to for a beer and a good story. And, in this case, food and a bed.

I've started taking inventory of basic provisions. More details on that later. I've also started pulling together some general necessities, like blankets and changes of clothing. I'm sorting them in the great hall--grab what you need, but please mark down what you take so we can keep an accurate count. If you need help finding a place to sleep, let me know and I'll help get you settled.

Okay, all that shit aside, I think we need to try to gather together--all of us--and start getting to know faces and names. I'm Varric Tethras--short guy, blonde hair, can't miss me. I'll be cooking a group meal for anyone who wants to come to the grand hall to get it. I'll also pull out some cards. We need some levity pretty damn fast.

The military sort can worry about keeping us safe. Me? I'll work on keeping us comfortable and sane.

My ship has enough provisions to last for a little while. Even at the end of the war, we were stocked pretty well. As soon as I'm able, I'll take an inventory. There's no way she'll get off the ground the way she is now, even if I thought we'd be able to get through whatever is blocking this area. May was well put her supplies to good use.

If you can't find me, look for the big hat. I'll be out in the yard, helping those poor sods Cullen just recruited into his army learn which end of their daggers they shouldn't go shoving in their faces.

Is Cullen already recruiting some of us to be his new army now that the rest of his men are gone? I suppose that figures. Maker speed him on his way and all that. Make sure you swing around when you get a chance. I haven't seen you in a pig's eye.

I don't know where he got those youngbloods, but most of them don't look old enough to grow hair anywhere except the tops of their heads. If one more of them waves his dagger too close to my hat again, I'll pin his trousers to the message board outside of the tavern.

And Varric, it's good to see you. I know I missed...*sigh* It's just good to see you. World's weird enough and we liars and cheats need to stick together. I have no idea what this Fade shit is but I do know there aren't any desire demons offering me big boats.

Can't say I'm that versed on elven magic, but I do what I can. I'm a shapeshifter mage, so if you need someone to quickly scout the perimeter or to do some heavy lifting, I can help. Fire is my speciality and I can do some healing too.

I'm Tali'Zorah vas Normandy - Tali is fine. I am a member of Shepard's crew, and I'm very good with machines and electronics, though I am beginning to get the sense that won't help much around here.

Kaidan Alenko. I'm another of Shepard's crewmen. I'm decent with tech and decent with medical. Mostly it's my biotics that get me by.
