So, guys, a simple question: What in the Void happened to Meredith?!

First she's praying with Leliana, then she is almost killing the Hero of Ferelden and now she is missing in action. For a bunch of heroes, we're quite unable to keep track of things happening just right under our noses, aren't we?

Whoever is willing to, let's go find her.
I'll be able to get some sleep after the crazy templar is in the Dungeons.

Preferably, non-magical people.
I don't want her jumping over us right from the start.


Leliana: Is her sword somewhere safe? Please, tell me it is somewhere safe!


Dagna: I know it's tempting, but DON'T destroy her sword like we did to Samson's armor. Just don't. We still don't know the consequences of our little time here and not even how this can affect the Time.

They say a leader is less inclined to sentence people to death for silly reasons if they are the ones to carry the order. I agree.

Unless we're talking about ruthless crazed leaders, of course

Yes, can work with that concept.

But here we call it 'Eluvians' and despite that we can use it to speak to people, they were mostly used to transport people from one place to another. And by 'people' I mean 'elves'. And that was a very long time ago. Most Eluvians are broken now.

And I think we're all her as consequence of a Eluvian breaking in the real Skyhold.

Interesting. The Mass Relays are used to facilitate long-distance travel, but communication is more often done via quantum-entanglement.

...Two pieces of a single object which resonate with the same frequency, despite the distances between them, which can be translated into images and sounds via a computer...

My Ancestors were, like, really suckers for the Beyond as they used to call the Fade on their days. Eluvians were portals made to connect the material world to the Fade, more specifically, to a place called 'the crossroads'. From the crossroads you could find all other Eluvians and enter them, provided you had the right 'key'.

But then, people says the Ancient Elfs were capable of casting spells on the course of days without a break, and the crossroads itself was created by them. They were also imortal, which considerably helped with the 'casting along days' thing.

The immortal aspect sounds suspiciously like the Asari...and so does the "doing things for days" aspect of your people. It's odd how somethings remain the same, despite dramatic differences elsewhere.

Well, is a vessel such the one on the courtyard can cross this Mass Relay, it surely is far bigger than an Eluvian.

So, if Eluvians are ancient magical technology, how did you come to have one in your possession? And how did it end up broken?

Funny story.
A witch found it and brought it with her from Orlais to help the Inquisition face this Ancient guy with aspiration to godhood. When she left, she didn't bother taking it with her.

Can't even imagine the freight rate she had to pay to bring it in the first place.
