Somewhere deep under the fortress called Skyhold, behind a metal barred door, a beast of a woman was hanging from a wall by chains. However, while the beast was unconscious, nothing could be done. Aria had spent a good while standing over the unconscious form, waiting for the human to wake up again, but nothing came of it. She scoffed at it and left the room with a steady stride. Behind her, she'd slammed the door, bending the frame with her biotics so even lockpicks would be useless on it.

The trek back to the ground level of the castle was uneventful. Aria had taken a different route, one that would bypass the two women she'd left lying on the floor. Maybe they were still alive. She didn't know, and she didn't really care. Finally, the narrow passages and stairways opened up. The Great Hall--which she had only been through once yet--was empty.

Her boots made dull clicking noises that echoed into the high ceiling as she advanced up the hall. Anyone else might feel small, being alone in such a grand space. Aria didn't. She had presence, and purpose, and a prize in her view.

Standing before the large chair, Aria took a moment to look it over. It was hideous. She wanted her couch in Afterlife, but this would do for now. Sitting in the throne gave her a sense of ease. This was familiar. She sank slowly into a lounging position, but as she did so, she began to realize something that made her more than a little uncomfortable.

It was too quiet.

The sudden flow of magic and other kind of power startled the Inquisitor. She strode back to the main building with large steps and by the time she reached the stairs, the pricking sensation of magic had already vanished. Aria waited in silence for some time, trying to focus on the past sensation for traces of magic, faintly disappearing.

Her fingers sought for the comfort provided by the familiarity with her magical staff and she entered the Great Hall, slowly, cautious. Could it be Meredith facing a mage? But she had been praying with Leliana, didn't she? Part of the energy mixed with magic was certainly Red Lyrium, so what had happened?

She narrowed her eyes at the sight of a purple woman sitting on the throne, something she hadn't noticed before. A Desire Demon? Nah, too clothed, no horns or tail, too obviously... displaced. The Inquisitor approached with caution, some meters keeping her and the other woman apart.

"Care to explain who are you and why you're sitting on my throne?"

"My planet? Of course not, for heaven's sake! No, thank the Creators no. But this is my fortress. Ish."

The Inquisitor put her staff back to her back and straightened, considerably more haughty now "I'm Inquisitor Aria Lavellan. By your looks, I guess you're an acquaintance from the Normandy's Crew, yes?"

"Yep, pretty much useless." then she chuckled, more for herself than for the other woman "Funny thing how I had to be trapped in the Fade with people from a entirely different dimension to see someone with the same name as me."

She shifted her weight from one leg to another, apparently studying the other Aria briefly. "So... the Normandy is just in the courtyard, if you're thinking of paying them a visit. If you have questions, I may have answers."

"The Eluvian shattered."

She answered promptly, as if it was very obvious.

"Of course it never crossed my mind that the Eluvian had such power to disrupt dimensions, aside from the Fade. Which probably means our worlds are far more connected than we know."

"Precisely. You are a fast learner, aren't you?" she grinned "The Eluvian we have here is now fixed, but we are debating on whether re-activating it or not, and what safety measures can we take to be sure we won't just mess everything up even more, if that's possible."
