The demon is defeated. The castle is, for the moment, secure. There hasn't been a new arrival in several days. Arms and armor have been passed to those who require it, and the rest is safe. Food is being carefully managed and rationed--even if alcohol is not.
We're as safe as we can be for now.
I have no more excuses.
