Guess what is now lurking around the castle?

An Envy demon. It hitched a ride in Eve's head and has now managed to get loose in Skyhold. Have fun having whatever run-ins you want, so long as Envy is not defeated (though it can be gravely injured several times, only to escape and recover) until, oh, Tuesday. That should give everyone who wants to time to bat it around. Since it came from Evelea's head, it only seems fair to let her give the final killing blow, but until then, have as many hero moments as you want--it's a very very very powerful demon, but we have super powerful characters. :D

Also, now other minor enemies are free to show up and be defeated, but remember to warn.

Couldn't tell what kind it was. I was alone and didn't want to stick around to take a closer look. But it was big and ugly as sin.

Probably don't want to go walking the place unarmed and alone until it's taken care of.

I'm given to understand there may be another "Herald" here, with a mark like my own? I am curious to see what sorts of effects they have on whatever passes for the Veil here, but I feel as if just waving them around willy nilly wouldn't be responsible. Thoughts? Observations? Gibbering fear at the very idea?

 I hate this place.  I mean, I really hate it.

Fade everywhere.  Two Tevinter mages.  An elf who isn't an elf.  Varric and Anders and Fenris, but at least one of them isn't from my world.

Oh, and now an Envy demon.

Fuck.

I've spent hours in the Herald's Rest, talking up a mage and an elf and drinking some truly fantastic whiskey but it didn't help.  All of my usual fallbacks are not working.

I'm off to find a corner somewhere that isn't full of demons and Fade shit.  

If anyone needs a break, or wants to spar, come join me.  I've found a lovely spot above the armory that feels....not completely safe but it's warm and there's plenty of weapons to go around if we need to kill something.

Inside the room with the shattered eluvian, Sigrun patted Jager on the head as Neria took her leave. Then she turned to Dagna.

"Soooo...I don't know the first thing about broken elven magical mirrors, but if you need my help, just say the word, I guess? I'm good at helping."

She stepped closer to the the mirror's frame, tilting her head back to look up at it. "Sure is big. Are you sure you can fix it? I mean, we might need a ladder. Or I guess we could lay it on the floor."
