OOC: Rules and FAQ

There is only one rule: don’t be a dick. Simple, yes? That means don’t try to force other characters to do things, don’t use your powers against someone against their will, and don’t start out of character fights. Drama should be kept within the confines of the game.

There are no update rules. Update whenever you like. HOWEVER, the more active people are, the longer the game stays alive and fun for everyone. So please do make an effort to be lively.

If you'd like, you may write a third person introduction in the community to introduce your character and bring him/her into the game.

There is no character cap. Take as many or as few characters as you want.

Each day of our time is another day in the game passing.

Please stick to third person past tense if you can. If you can’t, I’ll try to look the other way. But really, do try—we’re building a story here, and it’s easier to read the story if we are all using the same tense. Journal entries can, of course, be first person. If you're not sure what to do, don't worry--no one is going to be upset if you do it "wrong". Ask and someone will absolutely help you find your footing. It's really, really easy. Watch for the Kaidan and Varric journals for examples of different play options--I'll be trying to give as many examples as possible.

When posting anything, make sure to post in the fadewalk journal. That way, we don’t need to keep a character button up to date. If you have an out of character comment, mark it clearly as “out of character”.

If something is crossed out, you the player can read it but your characters CANNOT.

Characters cannot see usernames or icons. That is just for us as players. There is, however, an identifying name and number that connects to each journal so you know who you are talking to.

Sex and violence are perfectly fine. So is angst. If you’re going to be NSFW or triggery, please cut-tag the post and mark it as triggery. Please just use your common sense about what would be triggering.
